92. Love and Gold

Your beauty sparks ruptures hearts
And men vent their spleens.
They always tell you ne'er the truth
And gratify themselves by their own means.

But you know me, it's plain to see
That I just state my case.
I try not lie, but sometimes truth is aligned
So as your own heart can be saved.

I know not why you're placed in a cot
All snuggled in bubble-wrap.
To protect you from life? To abscond you from strife?
Please don't fall into the trap.

I've seen and believed that you are relieved
From the din of pastures old.
So just remember this; your life is a bliss
And full of love and gold.
